Top of mind: Happy Sunday!
The newsletter will be a year old next month, a surprising but great reminder of how fleeting time is! I still remember typing the first words and excitedly sending them out to subscribers, mostly family and friends.
Almost a year later, the newsletter has grown to nearly 2,000 subscribers with readers across 15 countries – a mix of curious tech enthusiasts and employees of the world’s biggest startups and tech companies. In addition, we’ve maintained a consistent open rate of 53.5% compared to an industry average of 27%. I am incredibly proud of this growth.
I’ve been mulling over revamping the website and incorporating some new ideas that would launch the next phase of this newsletter for a while now, and I think now is the best time to do this.
To make this happen, I need to take some time off to work on bringing my ideas to life. Technically speaking, it would take weeks to change the newsletter’s look. I’m estimating we’ll be back up and running on July 10th.
It hurts my heart, + I feel enormous guilt to be gone that long, but I’m learning that it’s okay, and I’m choosing to give myself grace.
Plus, I’ll be back with a big announcement, so get ready 🙂
